MICHELLE HOCHKEPPEL
Foundations
I didn't really understand organizational leadership prior to this program, but I did know that dysfunctional thinking, rigidity in leadership approaches, and segmentalism in organizational decision-making and behavior was holding me back from progressing professionally.
This course focuses on the reflective nature in each of us, and is at the heart of Ignatian pedagogy. This class is truly the beginning of exploration and is meant to get students comfortable questioning what does and does not work in leadership.
The course invites us to look in the mirror at who we are and who we want to be, and guides us towards understanding through evaluative feedback.

new beginnings
- this course awakened in me the power of choice
- it coincided with other major life changes
- it (re)taught me the value of curiosity
- provided insight into causal problems
- reminded me of the interconnectedness
by teaching me the power of learning and stretching again
including a trip that offered new perspectives
and how entering the program could encourage mind and soul growth
through questioning and sharing meaning
of the whole being
