MICHELLE HOCHKEPPEL

Imagine,Create, Lead
Based around a three-day intensive this course demonstrated concepts exemplifying authentic leadership and metanoia through music, storytelling, creativity and imagination.
We come away with the realization that we are all connected, everyone has something to offer and that our experiences matter.
This course culminated in a challenging creative expression. I created a game called Mesa Vista made with polymer pieces based on Ignatian principles and an journey-centered experience.
This course brought me in touch with:
-
the importance of imagination in the workplace
-
establishing relationships, broadens perspectives
-
our experiences are valuable parts of our whole
-
the value of the 'follower' and their relationship to organizational effectiveness
Artifacts

Mesa Vista
Mesa Vista is a game board I made following the Ignatian journey of exploration, struggle and awakening. Click the image to read the paper associated with the game or watch an intro video of the game below.

Plants
No matter where I live, I must have plants. Their growth over time reminds me of the life cycles we all go through. This succulent was the artifact I shared in this class and has been traveling with me for a decade.
